FLASHYALARM UPDATED 2026-09-15

LEGAL

Privacy Policy

FlashyAlarm collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no internet connection. Everything you put into it stays on your iPhone.

1. Who we are

FlashyAlarm is operated by Merick Evans (sole proprietor). Contact: merickfit@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party software of any kind in the app.

3. What stays on your device

Your alarms, your flashcard decks, the cards in them, and the progress of an alarm you are currently answering are stored on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database. They are never transmitted anywhere.

If you have iCloud Backup switched on, your iPhone may include this data in your own encrypted device backup. That backup is between you and Apple; FlashyAlarm has no access to it.

4. Network access

FlashyAlarm has none. The app contains no networking code whatsoever and behaves identically in airplane mode.

5. Permissions

Both can be revoked at any time in Settings.

6. Files you import

When you import a CSV file, FlashyAlarm reads it once, copies the cards into its on-device database, and does nothing further with the file. When you export a deck, the file is created on your device and handed to whatever you choose to share it with. What happens after that is governed by that app's privacy policy, not this one.

7. Children

FlashyAlarm is suitable for all ages. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Your rights

Because nothing leaves your device, there is no data for us to access, export, correct or delete on your behalf. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated date above.
