HELP
The alarm you have to earn.
No snooze, no dismiss button. The only way to stop it is to type the right answers.

Please include your iPhone model and iOS version. If an alarm behaved unexpectedly, the time it happened helps a great deal.
Common questions
The alarm came back after I pressed Stop.
That is deliberate. Stop schedules the alarm again about fifteen seconds later. Completing the typing mission is the only thing that ends an alarm.
I force-quit the app and it still went off.
Also deliberate. Backup alarms are scheduled in advance, so the alarm survives the app being closed. Your progress is saved — reopening puts you back on the same card.
How do I stop an alarm I set by mistake?
If it has not fired yet, switch it off in the alarm list. If it is already ringing, answer the cards. There is no back door; that is the entire point of the app.
I do not know the answer to a card.
Type anything. The app shows you the correct answer, holds it on screen, then returns that card to the deck so it comes round again.
Can I use my own flashcards?
Yes. Build a deck card by card, or import any two-column CSV — prompt first, answer second. Separate several accepted answers with a slash, like casa / hogar. Decks export as CSV too.
Does marking accept near-misses?
Accents, capital letters and punctuation around the answer are all ignored, so cafe is accepted for café. The word itself has to be right.
What does the app know about me?
Nothing at all. There is no account and no internet connection — see the privacy policy.
Two things FlashyAlarm cannot prevent
- Turning your phone off.
- Deleting the app.
Everything else — swiping the alert away, locking the phone, switching apps, force-quitting — it survives.
